Custom CRM requirements
For custom connections, your CRM needs an MCP server with tools to create a record, read it back, and remove a setup-test record. MCP support alone does not guarantee compatibility.
Your administrator supplies an HTTPS MCP server URL, an API key if required, and the target board or collection. BusyTrip suggests mappings when the available tools allow it. Review the fields and run the test before scanning real contacts. Follow the screenshot guide.
The test creates a synthetic record, verifies it, and requests cleanup. Successful tests stay out of scan history. If cleanup is uncertain, check the CRM before retrying. The provider may retain audit or recovery copies.
Matching existing contacts and appending notes also require lookup and update tools. Only configured fields are delivered. Ask about your CRM; do not send passwords or API keys.

Questions
Does BusyTrip support every CRM?
No. Compatibility depends on the MCP tools, permissions, and field mappings. Test the connection before using it with real contacts.
What about Notion or monday.com?
Connect your own Notion or monday.com account, choose Contacts or Receipts, select an existing database or board, review the fields, and test the connection. Create the destination in the provider first if needed. Contacts and receipts use separate connections.
Will it merge existing contacts?
With exact-email matching and note appending configured, BusyTrip can add notes without replacing existing contact fields. Without that setup, do not assume automatic deduplication. Check uncertain deliveries before retrying.
Can receipts use the same connection?
No. Create a separate Receipts connection and select its database or board. A Contacts connection is not a receipt destination. You can also keep receipts in Drive.
What happens when I disconnect?
Removing the connection stops future use in BusyTrip. It does not delete CRM records or revoke the credential at its provider. The CRM has its own permissions, retention, fees, and terms.
