Questions

Can I type instead?

Yes. Recording is optional, and you can edit the generated draft. Audio processing needs an internet connection.

What happens to the recording?

BusyTrip deletes temporary audio after processing, failure, or cancellation and does not keep raw transcript history. Drafts expire after 24 hours; failed audio may remain on your device for retry. The transcription provider may retain audio and transcripts for up to 30 days. Saved notes and recovery copies have separate retention rules. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How is the summary made?

Audio is transcribed through OpenRouter using xAI Grok speech, then summarized through OpenRouter. Speaker separation distinguishes turns, not identities. Noise, overlapping voices, or unusual names can affect the result.

Who can read the notes?

Team contact notes follow team access settings. Personal notes stay in Personal unless you copy or move the scan. Check the update status for connected destinations; independent exported copies do not all update automatically.

Is this a meeting bot?

No. You start the recording or upload yourself. BusyTrip does not automatically join meetings.
